Pet Policy

Pet’s are not permitted in the Holiday Park during any NZ School Holiday Periods or Public Holiday Weekends – Strictly no pets 20 December - 10 February.
At other times, Collingwood Holiday Park is pet friendly by arrangement only with Managers and only on Camping Sites in your vehicle or tent outside of NZ School Holidays or Public Weekends ONLY. If your Pet is permitted to stay you will be required to sign our Pet Policy Terms of Stay form on arrival at check in.
Pet’s not declared at check-in, may result in your booking being cancelled and asked to leave the Park without refund.
Pets are never allowed in cabins or other fixed accommodation or around any Park facilities at any time.
Visitors pets are not permitted.

Check-in and Check-out Policy

Check-in time is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Please do not be offended if a request for an early check in or late departure is not permitted.

Terms of Stay

• To conform to Holiday Park bylaws and Council regulations (available from office and on website) and understands that any breach of the rules by themselves or their visitor/s will result in their site or unit being cancelled without any refund of fees paid.
• Any additions to the numbers in your party must be notified to and consent given by the Managers of the Holiday Park before arrival with the appropriate stay fee paid
• Only one vehicle is allowed to park on each site, with all other vehicles being parked in the designated areas or on the street outside the Holiday Park.
• All visitors must report to the office and sign in to the visitors book (this is a Health & Safety Regulation) and; pay the appropriate fee (if any) prior to entering the Holiday Park and park their vehicles on the street.
• Your caravan/campervan will have a current electrical WOF.
• Your tent, if connected to a power supply, will have a transformer or an approved circuit breaking device.
• No animals are allowed in the Holiday Park except without express permission or by prior arrangement with management but strictly NOT at any time during school holidays or other statutory holiday periods

Reservations Policy

A valid Credit Card is required to secure all bookings and a deposit is required to confirm all bookings. Payments may be made by Visa or Mastercard or can also be made by bank transfer but must be paid within 7 days of making the reservation to confirm. Bookings made within one week of arrival date can only make their deposit with Visa or Mastercard.

We reserve the right to refuse a reservation at any time from any person if we reasonably believe the person:
• is not the person named on the reservation
• is not the person named on the credit card or not be authorised to use the card
• is not able to pay for any additional charges
• may cause damage to the property of the camp or other guests
• may exhibit socially unacceptable behaviour
• is younger than 21 years and not accompanied by a responsible person over that age
• is concealing a dog or other unauthorised animal

To ensure that all guests have a pleasant stay we expect common sense and consideration to be shown at all times. This includes reasonable behaviour and dress at all times. All alcohol is to be consumed on your site or in your unit. No noise between 10pm – 7am. All bookings are accepted at the discretion of the Managers.

Reservations are a contract between Collingwood Holiday Park and the person named on the reservation and is not transferable to any other person. This means that the named person must occupy the Cabin or Site for the duration of the contract and is ultimately responsible or all occupants and visitors of that unit or site.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations are only confirmed on receipt of 20% non-refundable deposit, with any balance payable on arrival. Days booked are days paid for, there is no reduction in fees for late arrival or early departure.

Reservations to stay 1 December to 31 March

A refund will be given if a reservation is cancelled at least 14 days prior to the arrival date, less the 20% non-refundable deposit.
If a reservation is cancelled within 14 days of expected arrival no refund will be given.
If an amendment results in the shortening of the reservation, no refund will be made, unless notice is given at least 14 days prior to the arrival date. The 20% non-refundable deposit still applies to the cancelled nights.

Reservations to stay 1 April to 30 November:

A refund will be given if a reservation is cancelled at least 72 hours prior to the arrival date, less the 20% non-refundable deposit.
If a reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of expected arrival, no refund will be given.
If an amendment results in shortening of the reservation, no refund will be made, unless notice is given at least 72 hours prior to the expected arrival. The 20% non-refundable deposit still applies to the cancelled nights.

The charges may be varied by the Chief Executive Officer where special circumstances exist.

Refund Policy

Please note if a reservation is cancelled within the required time frames outlined above and you are entitled to a refund, please note Collingwood Holiday Park are unable to refund you directly. All refunds must go through Tasman District Council. Please contact the Financial Department at the Tasman District Council on 03 543 8400. Refunds may take up to two weeks to process.

This statement applies to all individuals providing personal information to Collingwood Holiday Park through this website. When collecting personal information Collingwood Holiday Park complies with the Privacy Act 1993. Collingwood Holiday Park will only collect and use personal information in connection with processing your request and for contacting you regarding our services to you.
