Accommodation options
We have a variety of accommodation to suit every budget. We offer tent sites and hard gravel sites, basic cabins through to a two bedroom holiday home.
Our fees and charges are set by the Tasman District Council. For more information visit their website. Prices quoted are for 1 or 2 guests staying, extra guest charges apply. We recommend you view our stay policies prior to making a booking with us.
Please note you must be 18 years of age or over to book with us and a credit card, for security purposes, is required to confirm a booking. An infant is 0-2 years, a child rate is 3-14 Years old, and an adult rate is 15 and above.
Pets permitted on campsites only by pre-arrangement, restrictions apply. Pets NOT PERMITTED during school or public holidays and never in fixed accommodation or in vehicles outside cabins at any time. Please refer to our Pet Policy
Ensuite Cabin
This cosy studio style rustic cabin has a queen bed and a set of single bunks in a separate room. Beds are provided with all linen, pillows, bedding and towels are also provided. It has a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge freezer and double cook top, there is no oven. You’ll also find crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, and an electric frypan.
This cabin has its own bathroom with toilet and shower.
Freeview TV is also included.
Seasonal rates start from $ for two adults per night, extra guest charges apply. Maximum occupancy is 4 people.
Standard Cabin
These compact standard cabins do not have their own bathrooms or kitchens, you use the Park facilities located close by. They are ideal for small families or groups travelling on a budget.
All Standard Cabins have a small fridge and the beds are provided with all linen and bedding. Towels are not included but may be hired (subject to availability) from reception at check in, $2 per towel. Bring own cooking equipment to use in the communal kitchens.
Seasonal rates start from $ for two adults per night, extra guest charges apply. Maximum occupancy (varies by cabin #) is 4 people ).
Basic Cabin
These compact basic cabins do not have their own bathrooms or kitchens, you use the Park facilities located close by. They are ideal for small families or groups travelling on a budget.
These cabins are provided with bottom sheets, pillows and pillow slips only. You bring your own bedding and towels. Bedding may be hired (subject to availability) and is $5 per person per night. Bring own cooking equipment to use in the communal kitchens.

Waterfront Cabin - Sleeps 5
This brand new Cabin sleeps up to 5 people. It is located directly on the waterfront overlooking the Aorere River and spectacular views of Kahurangi National Park and Farewell Spit.
It has a queen bed which is fully made up, bedding and towels provided. The Cabin has a small refrigerator.
There are no bathroom or kitchen facilities in this cabin. Guests have full use of Park bathroom and kitchen facilities located nearby.
Waterfront Cabin - Sleeps 3
This brand new Cabin sleeps up to 3 people. It is located directly on the waterfront overlooking the Aorere River and spectacular views of Kahurangi National Park and Farewell Spit.
It has a queen bed which is fully made up, bedding and towels provided. The Cabin has a small refrigerator.
There are no bathroom or kitchen facilities in this cabin. Guests have full use of Park bathroom and kitchen facilities located nearby.
The Bach
Our two bedroom bach sleeps a total of 9 people, great for groups and families travelling together. The bach has a full kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave and oven and fridge/freezer. There is a lounge room with two lounge suites and Freeview TV.
Bathroom facilities include a toilet and a shower over a big old-fashioned bath. There is even a washing machine – bring own laundry detergent.
Bedroom one has a queen bed and a set of single bunks. Bedroom two has a double bed and one single bed. The lounge has a double bed. Beds are provided with all linen, pillows and duvets. Towels are also provided.
Seasonal rates start from $ for four adults per night, extra guest charges apply. Maximum occupancy is 9 people.
Please note: The Bach is operated as a holiday home, that means it is self-service and you are required to clean the Bach and strip all beds used of linen. All cleaning products and a vacuum cleaner are provided. A credit card is required to secure a booking and cleaning charges will be applied if the end of stay cleaning requirements are not met.
Camping Sites
Tent, caravan and motorhome sites range from sitting on the waterfront to the more sheltered site amongst the trees. Campers have access to full communal facilities. Bring own cooking equipment to use in the communal kitchens.

Waterfront - powered from $ per night. Please note coastal sites aren’t suitable for tents or caravan awnings as they are hardstand gravel, they are also limited to maximum vehicle length of 7 metres.
Non Waterfront (grass & gravel) - powered from $ per night.
Non Waterfront (grass) - unpowered from $ per night.
Please note: To connect to our power supply, all vehicles must have a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness (EWOF). Guests connecting to our power supply must provide their own RCD approved 3 pin camping cord – a standard household extension cord is not permitted. We do not hire camping cords.
