We are located in the unique and beautiful Golden Bay.  Collingwood Holiday Park is the perfect base to explore the region, staying just one day won’t be enough.

Collingwood Holiday Park is a great example of a rustic Kiwi family experience.  We offer a bed for every budget. We have on offer basic cabins where you bring your own bedding, standard cabins where linen is provided, two waterfront cabins where the sea and mountains are framed by your window, one ensuite cabin which has all of your basic needs met, grass tent sites and gravel waterfront sites where you can park up and fish from your site when the tide is high.  Book now

Collingwood is a quiet gold rush village and is Golden Bay’s northernmost settlement. Situated between the sea and Ruataniwha Inlet. The village boasts a On the Spot general store for all of your basic grocery needs, The Courthouse Cafe for the best breakfast and morning coffee, galleries, a hairdresser for any trim ups you may need, the meeting place of small towns- Collingwood Tavern that serves the food hot and the beer cold, and a small museum. The village is a perfect base for those wanting to explore Farewell Spit, the wild and wonderful Whārariki Beach and seal colony, the history of the Aōrere Goldfields or head off on the Heaphy Track.

December through March are our peak times, so if you are travelling during this time, please book in advance.

CLOSED 27th July - 27th of August 2026 for annual shutdown period. Re-open the 28th of August.

Please be aware that building work for our 3 new ensuite cabins and kitchen block will be happening throughout the day time until completion. Expected time frame will be until October 2026.
